Conference by EFSAS' partners (ATA) and meeting in Brussels

Partners of EFSAS, the Atlantic Treaty Association (ATA) hosted a conference at the European Parliament in Brussels on the 28th of June 2017. The conference was aimed at discussing how effective NATO-EU cooperation can achieve greater cyber-security, with terrorist and extremist groups expanding its battlefield more and more to this relatively new medium.

This conference brought together experts, policy makers, officials, and industry representatives to discuss the progress and implementation of enhanced cooperation between NATO and the EU in light of the recent Technical Arrangement on Cyber Defence. Closing remarks were given by Mr. Julian King, EU Commissioner for the Security Union.
