While elucidating the remarkable expansion of terrorist forces in the region and challenges for the West, Mr. Qureshi explained the origins of the issue and its geopolitical nature by citing examples of terrorist attacks and plots with a nexus between Terrorism and South Asia. The Director of EFSAS ended his contribution by making recommendations on how Europe and South Asia could cooperate in order to counter the rise of terrorism and radicalisation.
